-exploring patterns and pattern rules
-identifying and reproducing simple patterns
-creating and extending patterns using a variety of materials or actions
- identifying the CORE of a pattern (the part that repeats over and over again)
- labelling patterns in different ways (e.g., with letters, numbers, words, etc)
- representing patterns in a variety of ways
- recognizing patterns in the environment
