Welcome back!

We had a busy and exciting first week in our Senior Kindergarten and Grade One class!  We will be devoting a great deal of time getting to know each other, establishing our rules and routines and building a safe and positive classroom community over the first few weeks of school.  

Agendas/Mail Bags

Please be sure to go through the mail bag and initial the agenda each night.  Agendas should come back to school inside the mail bag every day.  Please leave the highlighted lines in the agenda blank as your child will be writing our daily agenda message on those highlighted lines each morning.

Paperwork

- I sent home a September newsletter in the mail bag on the first day (I apologize - it was a lengthy one!).  Please return the 2-sided yellow information card that was attached to this newsletter.

- Please fill out the front page of the agenda - personal information page.

-Mrs. Beattie sent home a family package envelope to youngest and only students on the second day of school.  Please return all office paperwork at your earliest convenience.

 Remind

- Please sign up for my REMIND texting application if you have not already done so.  Instructions for signing up were included in my September newsletter. 

Spare Clothes

- Any time your child brings home soiled/wet clothing, please replace the necessary items for his/her Spare Change of Clothes Bag (which stays in the Hall Bin) the following day.

Supplies

A list of requested supplies was included in my September newsletter.  Please send in these supplies if you are able to, and replenish these supplies as needed throughout the year.  

Teachers

We have a great team of teachers working with our SK/Gr 1 class this year.

- Mrs. Johnson (Librarian) will be teaching Health and leading our Library Book Exchange (our book exchange day is still to be determined). 

- Mrs. Teeter (filling in for Mrs. Rocque) will be teaching Social Studies.

- Mrs. Paterson will be teaching Science.

- Mr. Morin will be teaching Music.

- I (Mrs. Kutcy) will be teaching all of the other subject areas.
